On next Sunday, November the 9th we’ll be at the Trinity Assembly of God in Midlothian, MD. This is in Nikki’s home area so of course there will be a lot of family time to go along with that. We look forward to what will be a new place to present! Pray that we can communicate clearly and that everyone can see Christ glorified during the morning.
The following week we will be attending ICOM (International Conference on Missions) in Columbus, OH. Thanks especially to a couple who will be housing us (when we’ve actually never met before).
Maybe that is the real lesson or thought for today. Just as we should always be acting and moving toward God we should also be observing life around us at the same time. What makes this person so kind. What adversity have they faced and still manage to be more than willing to embody Christ on so many levels. One of the sides of fundraising that I’ve had to balance is resisting the (temptation perhaps) of making everything about fundraising.
It’s not.
It’s about being blessed to have an opportunity to meet many different kinds of people who all have been gifted by the Spirit and their own personal pursuit of God. I appreciate that aspect of what I can truly now see is a Kingdom without borders.
Coming up soon is the time to make some big decisions on our schedule. Be in prayer for this so we can move forward with the work in France. We’re looking forward to being part of the planting movement in France. Our monthly support goal should be close enough to some goal to sustain our activity. We’re still building our base and are blessed to have so many join in in just the last two weeks alone.
